Enrollment
The registration form along with terms and conditions of payment can be found below. Current course fees are listed in the fees section of this site, or can be obtained directly from the center. You may also alternatively email us at cales@y.net.ye and we will send you the latest information and an email registration form.
You should expect to receive notification of your acceptance by CALES within 5 working days of the receipt of your application form. Now, students are requested to send us a nonrefundable US$300 deposit (which goes towards room and tution fees) through the Western Union, so we can book their accomodations. Registration is considered final, unless you notify us otherwise. A $35 registration fee must be paid on arrival at the center.
Payment of Fees
Group courses:
All fees must be paid in full on or before the first day of classes. Should you feel that the class is not suitable for you, you must notify us before the fifth day of classes and the remaining fees will be reimbursed. Subsequent to this, you will only be eligible to receive a 60% refund on the remaining lessons. After the first month no refund is available and as the class is designed around a group, changes to the class schedule will not be possible.
Term Courses:
Prepayment of $100, toward the course fees, must be paid in advance of the first lesson, with the remainder being due on or before the 10th day into the course. No refund is available for missed lessons, as the class will continue without you. Cancellation of a term course is permitted up to the seventh day of classes with a full refund on unused fees. After the seventh day, a 60% refund is available on remaining fees, subject to a 1-week period of notice, if the course is cancelled within the first month. After the first month, no refund is available. A three-day holiday will be scheduled to allow for travel outside of Sana’a.
Individual/Unspecified courses:
Fees must be paid in full on or before the first day of classes. Classes may be cancelled or postponed with a minimum of three days’ notice. If the course is terminated without notice, a charge equivalent to three days’ tuition will be levied. Should you need to cancel a lesson due to an emergency, 24 hours notice, given by phone or fax during office hours, is required to avoid the loss of fees. Should you wish to change your course schedule in order to travel, one week’s advance notice is required. All postponed classes must be taken within 4 weeks.
All fees are payable in US dollars or the equivalent at current market rates.
