| Al-Saleh mosque visit |
| As time passes by, students of CALES come and leave Yemen with something in their hearts and minds which is normal for the people used to traveling to many places around the world seeking knowledge or enjoying the experience of other cultures. Yemen has proved during the last decade that Its not just a historical place to visit but also a competitive place to learn the Arabic language.
As usual, CALES arranges trips inside the capital Sanaa and one such visit was to the unique mosque called Al-Saleh mosque in the city Sanaa. Our academic supervisor Mr. Ibrahim Al-wail accompanied by a group of CALES students visited the mosque as part of CALES activities. Students were amazed by the combined modern and traditional architecture. Remarkably ,the mosque can hold up to 50.000 people in congregation. November 2009 | |
